ABOUT ME
Hi all my name is Noelle Cegielski or Elle (L) for short. I was born and raised in lovely Chicago Illinois. My passion and love for food and cooking started when I was a little girl cooking meals with my Grandmas and Mom. I pursued a career in Culinary Arts and graduated from Kendall College in 2011 with a certificate in Personal Chef and Catering. From there I worked in numerous restaurants and also started my own business, Garnished Gourmet, as a personal Chef and Caterer. At age 22 I realized I was craving more than just cooking food. I always enjoyed science and health, total nerd, and I decided I would go back to school to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. In May of 2016 I graduated from Dominican University with dreams of becoming a Registered Dietitian, RD. After school I worked for a year helping part time manage a restaurant and teaching after care cooking and nutrition education classes to children. Currently I work at The Sugar Beet School House in River Forest teaching cooking classes for adults, teens, and children. In April 2017 I was accepted into the Aramark Dietetic Internship program in Chicago and completed my 9 month internship at North Shore University Health Care Hospitals. I graduated the program in May of 2018 and passed my board exam in December 2018, gaining the credentials, RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) . I currently work at Revolution Physical Therapy and Weight Loss Clinic in Chicago, as a weight loss dietitian, focusing on positive and healthy lifestyle changes. Along with healthy eating I enjoy working out, running, long walks and hikes, and yoga. I am also studying to become a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA). My dream is to one day open my own private practice focusing on health and wellness through diet, exercise and balanced and healthy lifestyle changes. Some other things I enjoy are my dog Jackson, a good glass of wine, being outdoors and nature, traveling and trying new cuisines, watching the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs, spending time with family and friends, and country music... really anything country! I am excited to share my recipes, health and exercise workouts/tips, and to be able to educate you about living a healthy and happy life through nutrition and food! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have I would be more than happy to talk with you and help in any way I can!
