Natarajasana
MADE BY ELLE WITH LOVE
Yoga is a new practice that I just recently started and incorporated into my fitness and wellness routines. I started by watching the You Tube videos, Yoga with Adriene, and completing her 30 Day Yoga Challenge and then 30 Day Yoga Revolution. Yoga is so awesome because it is a full body workout and really helps build core strength. It also channels energy, mindfulness, and focus and concentration. I have really enjoyed gaining core strength and working on balance while practicing different poses. By practicing yoga I have also gained a better understanding of self-love and being present in the moment, which I feel is very necessary for everyone especially with the crazy fast-paced life-styles many of us Americans lead. I enjoy practicing yoga on my "rest days" or days when I may not be able to get a run in or make it to a gym.

Today I am working on the pose, Natarajasana, or Lord of the Dance Pose. This pose is a hip-opener, so it can help correct disorders related to the buttocks.
